The Diesel Traction Training Centre, Motibagh, Nagpur is a Institute of Electrical(OP) Department imparting training since 1963 to various wing of the Electrical Department  & Mechanical Department.

Main objective of this training Centre is to develop the trainees as a competent Railway staff in their respective fields, to infuse self esteem of being a Railway employee and perform their duties with confidence and dignity.

To achieve these goals, co-operation and co-ordination from all concerned is highly solicited.

Besides regular courses, other special courses like pre selection coaching of staff of different wings, Refresher Course of Safe Working Rules
for Track Machine Operators, Automatic Signaling training etc. are also conducted.

Guidance/Suggestions in respect of development and improvement of training courses are welcome, which will enable us to train staff for providing Better and Safer Railway System.

Location : This training institute is situated at Motibagh, Nagpur in Maharashtra appoxt 3 km from Nagpur Railway Station. It is approx 396 km away from Bilaspur Headquarter of South East Center Railway on HWH-Mumbai Trunk Route.

Facilities : DTTC / Motibagh, Nagpur is directly under control of Sr.Div. Electrical Engineer(OP) . This institute is imparting training to the staff of S.E.C. Railway.
Library facilities are available in the Institute. In the Hostel, various recreation facilities like Indoor games (Carom, Table Tennis and Chess), Colour T.V. with dish connection. News paper & Magazines are available in recreation hall.

Hostel : At present 57 Beds in 04 rooms are available in the Hostel. Bed, Mattress, Bed sheet, Pillow with cover, Mosquito net, Blankets, Bucket, Mug, Tea cup, Glass etc are supplied in the hostel for the trainees.

Training : Working hours of the institute is 9:00 hours to 17:30 hours from Monday to Friday. On Saturday working hours from 8:00 hours to 13:30 hours only. Strict discipline is required by all the trainees inside the training centre. If any clarification is required, trainees should contact the course conductor on in-charge of the training centre.
